Description [edit]
Located on the Riverwalk in the Historic Third Ward, Riverfront Pizzeria opened its bright and airy space in November 2006. With the same owners as Ricardo's Pizza in Greendale, it's a great stop for lunch or dinner. Riverwalk dining in the summer too.

Riverfront has terrible service, since they opened, I have been there a handful of times. I have not once received dedent service. Along with the wait staff, the management present was rude and disrespectful a couple of times. I once ordered the chocolate cheesecake, was brought the chocolate tart. The waitress insisted i didn't know what i was talking about and tood it back. She then told me they had plain cheesecake, which when she brought out, and i tasted, was the lemon custard pie. Again she insisted i was wrong, and that is when I polietly asked to speak to a manager about the dessert selection. I waited over 15 minutes for him to show up at the table, and he was rude and made my guest and i feel very uncomfortable. Riverfront has decent pizzas, unfortunately they have a staff that makes the entire dining experience terrible there. It is too bad, I actually enjoy their pizzas. I would never recommend to a friend. If someone wants amazing pizza, go to La Scala (in the Italian Community Center) three blocks away, and pay half as much, for an amazing pizza.

Riverfront has been a great addition to the Third Ward...we went last week and had the Pizza with prosciutto, arugula and balsamic which was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The patio is great and the booths are always cozy. My husband and I like that they have some really great italian entrees - but you can't go wrong with the Pizza...best cheese and crust in the city...We are in there twice a week...we both work downtown and there is always enough room to sit at lunch...believe it or not - we get in and out AND get our pizza in good time. Again - get the special with Prosciutto, Arugula and Balsamic. Great decor, food, and space.

This is one of our favorite places to dine in Milwaukee! The first thing that got my husband and I there was the fact that it is a non-smoking establishment. We started visiting Riverfront Pizzeria a little over a year ago and now go at least twice a month. I think it's the best pizza in the city. My favorite is the mini vegetarian, my husband usually gets the bbq chicken. I've stuck to pretty much pizzas since I could pretty much live off of it, but my husband has tried some of their pastas, sandwiches, & paninis and has liked me all. They have the best cheese bread appetizer around, HANDS DOWN! They have a very nice patio which overlooks the river, as the name states. There's a great selection of beverages, including some fun martinis. Another great bonus is their amazing televisions, this is especially important for die-hard sports fans, like my husband. We've watched the Packers and Brewers while noshing on their fab food. I HATE going to sports bars (too loud and smoky for me), but I really enjoy watching games at Riverfront because the sporting event doesn't take over the entire dining out experience, it's like an added bonus. Everyone we have taken there has loved it! My only gripe, I wish they still took reservations or call aheads, especially for the weekends. Keep up the good work, Riverfront, we've always had excellent food AND service.

Riverfront Pizzeria has the same family ownership, however it is a different corporation than the Greendale Location. That's why the gift cards from Greendale can't be used and vice versa. It states so on the back of the card.
