Tavolino introduces menu via a carry-out pop-up at neighboring Izzy Hops
When Peter Dietrich and Derek Nackers bought Divino Wine and Dine, 2315 N. Murray Ave., in January, they had hoped to reopen the place as Tavolino by this month.
Of course, world events have conspired to put an end to that idea, but the two haven't given up on Tavolino and beginning today, they're partnering with Izzy Hops Swig & Nosh on a Tavolino carry-out pop-up to introduce a small part of the Tavolino menu.
"Our plan is to ride this out as best we can and when we get the all clear, we're planning to open with a vengeance," Dietrich says.
Dietrich adds they're making the items listed below available for carry-out through Izzy Hops, which is located next door to the future Tavolino, Tuesday-Sunday, 4-8 p.m.
In a stretch of seemingly endless bad news for restaurants, this feels like a ray of hope for the future.
