There's still time to enjoy Le Reve's petite Bastille in Tosa

With Milwaukee's annual Downtown Bastille Days festival on hold for 2020, Le Reve Patisserie and Cafe in Tosa Village decided to stage its own petite fete this week and you've still got a little time to celebrate.

All week Le Reve has been hosting its Petit Bastille celebration from 5 until 8 p.m. in Wauwatosa's Root Common Park, just a few doors up from the restaurant at Harwood and Wauwatosa Avenues.

Le Reve has a food truck offering a menu of French-themed specialities, rain or shine, through Thursday, July 16, including a croque monsieur; frites, a burger, a tomato, brie and pesto plate, brownies and macaron ice cream sandwiches.

Beverages include Third Space and New Glarus brews, a sangria, a rose', as well as soda and water.

If you want, you can do yor own Storm the Bastille 5k, too. Or maybe just 3 since it's Petite Bastille.
