Free Pete's Pops for a year? Sign us up

It's time for Dining Month, presented by Deer District and its spooky Halloween-themed alter ego, Fear District. Throughout the month of October, we'll be serving up fun and fascinating content about all things food. The signature dish, however, is our 2019 Best of Dining poll, who's winners we will dish out all month long. Get hungry, Milwaukee!

The blustery winds are blowing and it's almost time for Pete's Pops, 3809 W. Vliet St., to close up shop for the season.

But you can keep your freezer stocked with Pete's Pops by heading to the pop shop this weekend (Friday, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 27 from noon to 6 p.m.) and purchasing a Mystery 10 Pack of pops for just $20.

From there, the deal gets even sweeter. Three of the 10-packs will contain a golden pop, entitling you to FREE Pete's Pops for an entire year.

The catch? If you find a golden pop in your Mystery 10 Pack, you must share a photo of your prize on Instagram or Facebook (and tag Pete's Pops, obvi) to be eligible to win.

But don't sleep on this one; there are only 100 Mystery 10 Packs to be had.

When will Pete's Pops reopen?

Pete's Pops will close for the season at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27 and reopen sometime this spring (probably in time for Brewers' Opening Day).

But you should definitely keep an eye on the brand's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds … rumor has it they might be doing some fun pop-up-style events during the off-season. Pete's Pops will also remain available for corporate events and catering throughout the winter months.
