Chef Michael Feker to open Americas restaurant in Delafield

Michael Feker, chef-owner of Il Mito, Zesti and 2Mesa, has a new project on the way.

The name of his newest restaurant is Americas, and it will be located at 515 Wells St. in Delafield, in the former home of PrimeOne steakhouse.

The property was subsequently purchased by Hendrick's Commercial Properties, who approached Feker about the potential for a restaurant in the vacant space, he says.

"They have been a great group to deal with," he adds. "Their investment in and for the community is apparent and they show it through their actions."

Feker says the menu for the restaurant is not yet finalized; however, it will feature dishes inspired by locales throughout North and South America, ranging from Canada in the North to Argentina in the South.

Lunch offerings, says Feker, will be both time and value-driven, featuring dishes like tacos, omelets and sandwiches. Meanwhile, dinner options will dive more deeply into dishes from countries including Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico.

Feker says he expects Americas to open in late September or early October. He is currently hiring for all positions at the restaurant. Additional information can be found at

Once open, Americas will offer both lunch and dinner service Monday through Saturday.
