Lux Domes will return to Cafe Benelux rooftop just in time for the holidays

Cafe Benelux will once-again be taking winter patio enjoyment to a new level during the holiday season.

Following a hugely successful debut last season, the Lowlands Group has announced that the Lux Domes will return to the roof of Café Benelux, 346 N. Broadway, on Friday, Nov. 29 (Black Friday).

"We took a gamble last year on the hunch that people in Milwaukee were looking for more adventurous dining experiences," says Dan Herwig, director of brand and marketing for Lowlands Group. "People want to get out and enjoy winter, and the domes give them a totally unique way to do that."

Reservations for the Lux Domes experience will open to the public sometime in mid-November; and -- despite an increase in the number of slots available this year -- the dome experiences are expected to sell out quickly.

Those interested in securing reservations are highly encouraged to sign up for the Lowlander email list at luxdomes.com. An email will be sent out with links to the online reservation system 24 hours in advance of reservations opening to the public.

The Lux Domes experience will operate similarly to last year. Reservations are $200 and include a 90-minute domes experience. Reservations include a complimentary drink package complete with a keepsake mug for each guest. Guests can also pre-order a variety of festive food and beverage packages to enhance the festive mood.

"While $200 seems like a lot at first blush, it shakes out to $25 a person for a really unique experience, and that includes the first round of drinks and a keepsake mug," says Herwig. "Last year we saw so many different people out celebrating all sorts of occasions -- we even had a few proposals on the rooftop!"
