Lakefront Brewery to reopen for carry-out fish fry on April 3
Lakefront Brewery, 1872 N Commerce St., which has been closed for a number of weeks, will reopen on Friday, April 3 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. to offer its famous fish fry.
To avoid unnecessary contact, fish fry (and beer) can be ordered online and picked up at the brewery 30 minutes after the order has been placed. Customers are advised to maintain the needed six-foot distancing to maintain both their own safety -- and the safety of others -- during pick-up.
"Our world is a bit sideways currently, but we're here with other great, local restaurants trying to bring back some good old normal," noted Lakefront Co-Founder and President, Russ Klisch in an announcement about the offering.
"We look forward to a full brewery with a full staff, but until then we must take steps forward. We hope folks come on down, grab some food and beer to go and feel good."
Pre-orders for fish fry will begin on Thursday, April 2, beginning at 8 a.m. Eligible orders will also receive a free take and bake pretzel.
Beginning Tuesday, April 7, Lakefront Brewery's grab and go menu will be available for pick-up Tuesday through Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m.
