Freshfin Poke opens Thursday in Third Ward

Freshfin Poke's second location opens on Thursday, Nov. 29 in the Landmark Building at 316 N. Milwaukee St. in Milwaukee's Third Ward.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement that the restaurant will be opening its third (and largest) location at The Corners of Brookfield sometime in spring 2018.

The Third Ward location is situated in the window-front area adjacent to Holey Moley Coffee + Doughnuts and Coquette Cafe. Like the East Side location, Freshfin Third Ward offers counter service, with limited seating available at a bar along the windows and tables near the adjacent stairway.

Though considerably smaller than Freshfin's North Avenue location at 1806 E. North Ave., the menu includes the full complement of signature poke bowls, including the Mango Tango, spicy tuna, cilantro chicken, curry coconut, Zen Bowl and Kailani Bowl along with sides like truffle crab salad, seaweed salad and quinoa puffs. Pricing is $8.95 to $10.95 for small bowls and $12.95 to $14.95 for large bowls.

"From the beginning, we hoped that our concept would resonate enough that we could consider expansion," he says. "In the end, that happened sooner than we expected. We're really excited to expand strategically and bring our food to other areas of the city that are looking for healthy, great tasting fast casual options."

Freshfin Poke in the Third Ward will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
