Step inside the new Corazon General Store, now open in Riverwest

There's a new spot in the Riverwest neighborhood to stock up on delicious take-and-bake dishes and support a variety of local makers.

Cafe Corazon, 3129 N. Bremen St., has converted its dining area into a quaint shopping destination featuring a combination of handmade goods and edible items from the cafe.

Step into the Corazon General Store and you'll find a variety of crafts, jewelry, pottery and handmade clothing, including adorable masks and server aprons from Carol Ann Armstrong of Snip Stitch & Patch.

Shoppers can also purchase a variety of housemade items from Cafe Corazon including bottles of their spicy salsa verde (proceeds go to supporting the Corazon restaurant crew), plus jams and frozen take-and-bake items including burritos and enchiladas.

The general store is currently open daily from noon to 8 p.m. Don't forget to wear your mask.
