Cafe Bavaria hosts fire sale, blow-out brunches and a peek of what's to come

Cafe Bavaria, 7700 Harwood Ave., will officially close its doors on Sunday, Jan. 5 in preparation for its transition to Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club.

But before it closes, Lowlands Group is inviting customers to come and bid farewell to the restaurant, and celebrate its five years of serving German food, Bier and Gemütlichkeit in the Tosa Village.

During the month of December, guests can get a sneak peek at some of the dishes coming to Buckatobon in the form of specials, which will be served Friday through Sunday. Guests can also ring in 2020 with a special New Year's Day brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, it will also host a fire sale featuring Cafe Bavaria decor items – from photos and signs to chairs and tables – on sale Jan. 1-5. Guests will also be able to create and take home a handpicked six-pack of beer at deep discounts, assisting the restaurant in clearing out the last of its coolers.

And last, but not least, guests can enjoy two final blow-out brunches on Jan. 4 and 5, allowing friends and family to raise a toast to all of the memories shared in the space.

Cafe Bavaria's hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 9 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 9 a.m to 10 p.m. Hours on the final day of service, Sunday, Jan. 5 will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
