Glorioso's gets the glory once again.

Milwaukee's best takeout, 2019

It's time for Dining Month, presented by Deer District and its spooky Halloween-themed alter ego, Fear District. Throughout the month of October, we'll be serving up fun and fascinating content about all things food. The signature dish, however, is our 2019 Best of Dining poll, who's winners we will dish out all month long. Get hungry, Milwaukee!

Glorioso's

Whether your schedule is filling up or you're tired of cooking cereal and milk combo for dinner, takeout is always the best option – especially at Glorioso's Italian Market, as the Brady Street classic has once again secured the top spot in Milwaukee's best takeout rankings.

Claiming the crown every year since 2016, Glorioso's serves up many crowd-pleasing options including delicious homemade meatballs and Italian beef, and freshly sliced cheese and meats. Hungry yet?

Well, there's also housemade pizza, fresh pasta, calzones and hot panini. And don't forget Glorioso's famous sandwich: the Human Torch with calabrese, capocollo, hot pepper spread and hot muffaletta. Be careful, though: It's a scorcher!

Runners-up:
2. Cafe India
3. Tomken's
4. Gold Rush Chicken
5. Jake's Deli

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Jing's

Lori Fredrich's pick: Ono Kine Grindz
