Casablanca has held the title of "Best Middle Eastern" in our readers' poll for 7 years running.

Milwaukee's best Middle Eastern, 2018

Season's eatings! The weather may be getting colder, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee is just cooking up, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Dining Month is brought to you by Fein Brothers, your premier food service equipment and supply dealer in Wisconsin since 1929. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

Casablanca

For the seventh year in a row, Casablanca has won top honors from OnMilwaukee readers for their casually elegant Mediterranean atmosphere and fine Middle Eastern cuisine. And that's a good thing. After all, the perennial favorite spread its wings this year, opening a second location in Brookfield over the summer.

With a massive menu ranging from hummus to falafel, shawarma to kabobs – plus steaks, salads, sandwiches, wraps and burgers and a range of desserts – the restaurant, which was founded in 1987 as "The Sahara Inn," has something fresh for just about everyone.

Runners-up:
2. Falafel Guys
3. Shawarma House
4. The Halal Guys
5. Aladdin / Pitaworks

OnMilwaukee editors' pick: Casablanca

Lori Fredrich's pick: Holy Land Grocery & Deli
