"Mary's Big Easy" pops up for Mardi Gras

Toss off your bras and toss on your beads because Mary's Arcade Bar, attached to Hamburger Mary's, 730S. 5th St., will become "Mary's Big Easy Mardi Gras Pop-Up" for two full weeks in February.

The sassy fun begins Tuesday, Feb. 11 and wraps up on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 25th.

The décor will reflect the colorful spirit of a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade – including a plethora of beads – and a limited-time New Orleans-inspired food menu featuring shrimp and chicken po' boys, crab cake sliders, Mary's signature Rajun Cajun andouille-stuffed burger, Southern pecan bread Pudding and freshly made beignets.

As for boozy NOLA libations, hurricanes and frozen daiquiris will be flowing freely, as well as twists on classic New Orleans cocktails such as the Sazerac, French 75 and Gin Fizz. Mary's has also partnered with Louisiana's Abita Brewing Company and will have at least two Abita Brewing Company Beers on tap, including their seasonal Mardi Gras Bock.
