Cheers to the second annual Bloody Mary Festival at Fiserv Forum
Your favorite brunch-time beverage will once again get a day all to its glorious self, as the Bloody Mary Festival will return to Deer District on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The bombardment of Bloody Marys – hosted in only 12 cities across the nation in 2020 – serves up unique tomato-y concoctions (plus hopefully a chaser; it is a Milwaukee tradition after all) from local bars and restaurants, with a panel of judges honoring the Best Bloody Mary in Wisconsin and attendees able to vote for the "People's Choice Award" winner.
For a look at what you can expect, here's a Facebook Live video from last year's maiden Bloody Mary merriment:
"The Bloody Mary Festival-Wisconsin had a tremendous inaugural event last year, attracting thousands of people to Deer District," said Michael Belot, Senior Vice President of Bucks Ventures and Development. "We look forward to once again hosting The Bloody Mary Festival-Wisconsin to celebrate the innovative Bloody Marys made by Wisconsin's diverse restaurants and to offer our guests another fun and unique event in Deer District."
Admission to the Bloody Mary Festival – which includes photo ops, temporary tattoos, local snacks and, of course, the competing Bloody Marys – costs $46.50 for the General Admission sessions (11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as well as 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and $56.50 for the VIP, or early entrance, sessions (10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as well as 3-6 p.m.).
