Yi Jianlian will arrive in his new home town, Milwaukee, later today, and he is expected to practice with the Bucks on Thursday.
First, though, he'll arrive from Shanghai to Chicago 's O'Hare International Airport and then drive to Milwaukee.
Along the drive, he'll be welcomed by six Clear Channel digital outdoor billboards, including one at I-94 and National Avenue. Some of the boards will change messages along the route.
From all of us at OnMilwaukee.com, welcome to Milwaukee, Yi!

Hey TosaJim - are you really that naive? Do you really think it was Yi himself he declared that he didn't want to play in Milwaukee? It was his AGENT who was hellbent on on him playing in NYC, Chicago, or LA...he saw dollar signs, Yi just wants to play. Are you really going to believe that hype that Yi said he didn't want to play here? This was all his agent's doing because of a perceived "marketability" in a larger city. A larger city didn't seem to matter to players like Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, or Kevin Garnett when it came to national prominence or marketability. Quit drinkin' the Hater-ade and embrace you inner Yi!
