Simlar experience with the Knick. We ( group of 6-10 people) go there every Sunday for brunch..or did for about 6 weeks straight. The food is great but the service is just horrible. The hostess is a dingbat and just has no clue how to be customer focused. She asked a couple that was coming in the door to come closer so she didn'thave to yell at them. We were seated and throughout the entire time of ordering and getting drinks ( which is usually the longest wait) we repeatedly told the waitress and hostess we needed siilverware. Of course it never came until AFTER we all had food sitting in front of us getting cold. Then the hostess brought one too few and acted like she was mad at us for having to go get another set. Not sure it's worth giving them my money each weeek but I'm gonna miss the crab cakes benedict!
