WMSE 91.7 FM announced that long-time "Blues Drive" DJ Janet Gering, known as "Lady J" to her listeners, died Sunday, Jan. 13 at age 46. She was battling cancer at an Oconomowoc hospice.

The Friday Night Freak Show is back!
After discussions with the Times' manager Eric Levin and new owner Larry Widen, WMSE's Station manager Tom Crawford and promotions director Brent Gohde are now finishing plans to resurrect the Freak Show tradition under the moniker "WMSE's Last Weekend."
