House of Frank N. Stein reincarnates funeral parlor as wiener bar
Riverwest's newest eatery, House of Frank N. Stein, 726 E. Center St., quietly opened a couple of weeks ago inside a former funeral home. The owners hope to have a liquor license very soon.

"Wake" embodies black comedy and Bay View
HBO's "Six feet Under" recently took its last breath for the season, but Andy Gorzalski's short film "Wake" - which also takes place in a funeral home -- is about to enliven the short film circuit. The independent film was shot entirely in Bay View.
