Is MMA fighting the end of the world as we know it?
OnMilwaukee.com sports columnist Dave Begel stumbled across a mixed-martial arts fight while channel surfing the other night and didn't really like what he saw. Begel worries that the logical outgrown from MMA is to put a fighter in a ring with a lion, a tiger or a pit viper. Oh, and he shares his thoughts about the Brewers, Packers and Bucks, too.

Brewers Notebook: Time for a little breather
After playing 20 games in 20 days, the Brewers took Monday off. They've been one of the hottest teams in baseball during that stretch, posting a 14-6 mark, thanks to a settled bullpen, effective starting pitching and an offensive attack sparked by Ryan Braun.
