Berry's less than "Perfect Stranger"
"Perfect Stranger" has the makings of a mystery thriller, but falls back on the "Murder, She Wrote"-type ending. It has the cast and workable plot, but the script is severely lacking.

"16 Blocks" of fun, "Die Hard" style
Without Mos Def, "16 Blocks" is just another conventional Bruce Willis vehicle; the fecal matter hits the fan, and Willis comes out unsullied -- save for generous amounts of caked-on blood and grime. Nonetheless, it delivers an action-packed ride with a digestible mixture of bullets and comic relief.

"Hart's War" never quite satisfies
Bruce Willis' new pic, "Hart's War," while entertaining throughout and never once boring, never fully captivates and fails to leave much of an impression thanks to an overly saccharine conclusion and too much sermonizing.
