Parents' sound-off: Monkey Joe's or Pump It Up?
In 2008, Metro Milwaukee welcomed two bouncy house franchises: Monkey Joe's, 2040 W. Bluemound Rd., in Waukesha, and Pump It Up, 195 N. Janacek Rd., in Brookfield. In your opinion, which facility is better?

Festival Guide - June 11, 2009
Two events make for a great Milwaukee weekend
Chilly or not, rainy or not, this weekend is the kind of weekend that makes the Milwaukee summer great for me. At some point this weekend, we'll hit two festivals on our side of town. First up is the church festival at Sts. Connie and Helen in Wauwatosa, which is now one of my favorites.

Bouncy houses put spring in the birthday kid's step
My sons have been to a couple of birthday parties in the past with "bouncy houses," and to this day, those parties remain in their mental Birthday Party Hall of Fame. If you can stomach the price (about $225 for the day), having a bouncy house at your kid's birthday party is never a bad idea, as long as you enforce basic safety rules.
