Magnuson blends action with introspection in new novel
Set amongst Wisconsin's North Woods, James Magnuson spins a tale about a wrongfully accused man seeking his daughter's killer, as well closure to an incident of the past. Though Magnuson cannot relate to the extreme situation, he knows the setting all too well.

It can be difficult finding activities suited for children and families beyond going to a museum or movie. Many bookstores in the area offer programs geared toward preteens and younger children. The combination of learning and fun should offer appeal to both parents and the young ones.
