Due to some recent houseguests, I found myself breakfasting at restaurants more than normal and that led me to ruminate on some of my favorite places to eat breakfast in the Milwaukee area.

The chocolate shop adjacent to Alterra Coffee and Locker's Florist in the Locker's Square development at 9125 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa has shed its relationship with Dutch, family-owned chocolatier Stam.
