Milwaukee's best market, 2008: Milwaukee Public Market
As passionate as they are about dining out, OnMilwaukee.com readers love to prepare food at home and they have a number of great markets at which to shop. The contest for "Best Market" could not have been much closer, but Milwaukee Public Market prevailed in a tight race over Sendik's.

Why not have brunch twice?
Considering yesterday's beautiful weather, I deemed it a lazy Sunday and decided to have brunch twice. Of course, I didn't plan this in advance but when a friend called to get brunch at Trocadero mid-brunch at Beans and Barley, I decided to venture over for my second consecutive brunch of the day.

Sunday Sound-off: Enough vegetarian restaurants?
Most restaurants have vegetarian options on their menu. At the very least, a chef will whip up a meatless pasta dish to appease a vegetarian, but are there enough restaurants in Milwaukee that specialize in meat-free cuisine? Sound-off, vegetarian diners!

Best breakfast, 2008: The Original Pancake House
Mom always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Who are we to argue with mom? When it comes to the morning meal, Milwaukeeans prefer The Original Pancake House, which has locations in the old "Coffee Trader space" on Downer Avenue and on the busy Bluemound Road strip in Brookfield.
