Revolush will perform at Shank Hall in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, August 2nd with a very special guest, Owen Sartori.

Owen and I were in a band together in the '90s called PUSH. We recorded our first a CD, Breathe on a Tascam 688, which is an analog eight channel multi-track recorder that uses cassette tapes. That was raw -- no punch-ins and no digital editing. I played drums on PUSH's follow-up album, Shamefaced a couple of years later. That record was done in a more stable studio environment with Jeff Jagielo behind the board. Patrick Connaughty played guitar on that disc. I mention this because Jeff and Pat are now making music together in Squarewave, and it's some really phenomenal stuff.

Owen's latest album, Another Beautiful Day in the Cube was recorded with some heavy hitters here in Milwaukee at Burst Records. Our Shank Hall concert on August 2nd will be his official Milwaukee CD release. Owen and his band will open the night with a full set of music followed by Revolush.
