By Arvid In Town Community Blogger Author bio | report |
Well, Last night I wrote a Blog after a wine or two and a couple of Bennys. I took some Benadryl before that party I went to because I thought they had some cats. I didn't see any, I did have some wine and It went to my head. I felt a bit sleepy and forgot a few letters on a few words on my last Blog. Sorry about that. It is really a poor excuse for poor writing, but hey I am not getting paid for this.
I finished up a painting today and delivered it, they were most happy. I do like to see people smile when they are happy with something that I have created. Some times at shows I stand back and watch reactions and not let anyone know who I am. I ask people what they think sometimes and they are usually pretty honest when they don't know you. My favorite is when they say "My kid could do this or I could do this" and I just ask them why don't they. They usually can't answer such a simple question. Are those people happy with what they are doing for a living? I often wonder to myself. I am listening to the Velvet Underground as I write, it is a group I will always have near. I am almost ready for my journey home on Wednesday. I have cleaned my place up a bit and will do the bathroom a little later. I like to come home to a tidy place, I think my mom instilled this in me growing up.
I will be visiting the Mars Cheese Castle on my trip to satisfy the home crowd cheese eaters. My mom is so excited to see what I pick up, I laugh about this. As I write I have noticed how many I's I put down. I must apologize about that, I don't usually talk about myself that much but here I can write what ever I want I guess.
Maybe I should try out the third person thing, Arvid got some new head phones the other day from Target. He needed some for his I-Pod because the head phones that come with it have lost the little fuzzy things and they always fall out of his ears. The new ones fit nicely and do not fall out. That was a bit weird I think I am going to stick to the first person thing. I do hope for snow on Christmas but that most likely will not be happening. It seems a bit to warm, I bet we are going to be dumped on in February. I have not ridden a bicycle in 4 years, I do not have one any more. I used to at my old studio, It actually came with one. But I left it out one night because the tires were flat and I figured nobody in there right mind would ride it. Someone did and bent the rims so I left it behind. I can't decide if ghosts are real or not, some times I believe in them and sometimes I don't. I guess I need to have an experience with one, to really believe. I do like Ghost Busters the movie.
My vacuum cleaner might be dying, this sucks (or does not suck). I have had it since college. I kind of don't want to retire it yet, we have had some good times.
Keep Smiling Milwaukee.
