Including sets from Fever Marlene, The Gufs, The Lackloves, Maritime, Mike Benign, Old Man Malcom, Pet Engine, and Truth in Fiction, the show pays homage to Milwaukee native Jeff Castelaz and the fight his son Pablo waged against cancer.

Published: Oct. 30, 2008 - 11:50 a.m. - Yeasayer stopped in at Turner Hall Ballroom Wednesday night to warn us of the oncoming season, but with a reminder that through the cold darkness there is a light. Their stage was dressed with three arcs of large, glowing bulbs and punctuated with one large bulb suspended in the center.

Published: Oct. 23, 2008 - 11:18 a.m. - Yelle's energy bursts from an almond-eyed petite girl with a cute bob. She was dressed in a Mondrian-inspired baggy sundress, which was, surprisingly, mostly black and white and only a few chunks of color (some of which glowed in the dark) and her requisite pair of tights ... sparkly.
