What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published May 4, 2009 at 2:02 p.m.

If rooting for Danny Gokey in front of the TV in your living room isn't satisfying your need to support your hometown "American Idol" contestant, CafePress has a few things you might want to check out.

Make that about 14,000 things.

That's because CafePress -- at cafepress.com -- has a slew of fan-designed "Idol" gear for sale on its site. Everything from baby bibs and T-shirts to trucker hats, messenger bags, hoodies, stickers, wall clocks and more.

CafePress is also monitoring sales of contestant-specigic "American Idol" gear to see if the sales trends can help predict a winner this season.

Of course, CaféPress hopes you'll vote early and often by scarfing up some of its copious Gokey gear.

just awesome Funky! you hate a TV show you've never seen! strange that someone could hate something in a visual medium without even looking at it. good for you! it's been on the air for 8 years and not once during that run have i not been able to listen to the music i like or see the shows i want to see. in fact some exciting new bands have come out in the last 8 years despite AI's obvious efforts to "ruin music".
