A new exhibit called "The Adventures of Mr. Potato Head" opens at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum on Thursday, July 17. It runs through Sept. 7.
The classic Mr. Potato Head character leads visitors on fun and educational adventures, from trips to outer space to archeological digs. The exhibit focuses on school readiness, literacy, problem solving, mathematics, science and social studies.
Children ages 3 to 8 will particularly enjoy this new exhibit.
The exhibit is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from noon until 5 p.m. and Mondays (June through August) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $6 per person and $5 per senior (adults older than 55); children younger than 1 are free.
