Event Description

Livia Hart is a destitute and mediocre artist. But when, she mistakenly paints a lurid sex scene on an abortion clinic wall, she becomes and instant celebrity. Using quick wit and comic bite, Madison-based playwright Kurt McGinnis Brown, examines artistic expression, fame and personal loyalties. Milwaukee Chamber Theatre presents a staged reading of NOT THE ARTIST directed by Jonathan West and featuring Dylan Bolin, Kelly Hogund, Mary MacDonald Kerr and Tom Klubertanz. The reading is free of charge with donations kindly accepted. Located in the Skylight Bar.
