Event Description Mass collaboration is changing the landscape with a proliferation of new media designed to communicate, collaborate and engage communities. PR practitioners are encouraged to use wikis, blogs, online social networks and open-source projects as the world ushers in new ways of thinking, working, learning and doing business. New tools promise two-way communication with internal and external audiences. But what about the risks and liabilities for the organizations that use these tools? Join the Southeastern Wisconsin chapter of the Public Relations Society of America to get practical advice on whether a Web 2.0 approach is right for your organization. Expert speakers will be August Ray of Experiential Marketing Group, Andrea Austin of Northwestern Mutual and Bruce Boyden of Marquette University. Registration is $10 for PRSA members and $40 for non-members. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 10th. For more information, visit the link above. | |||||
