Event Description

Indian Summer Festival celebrates this year's theme, “Honoring Our Northern Relations”. Indian Summer Festival is North America’s largest American Indian festival. The festival provides an entertaining, fun and first hand experience with American Indian traditions and culture in a family friendly atmosphere.

For 2008, Indian Summer focuses on the indigenous peoples of Canada, with dance groups, traditional and contemporary music groups as well as cultural displays. Grand Entries are held at 7 p.m. Friday, 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday.
