Event Description Blockbuster announced today it will host an Indiana Jones Night to celebrate the much-anticipated movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The free event will feature an Indiana Jones look-a-like contest, a Search for the Scary Skulls scavenger hunt and, in honor of Indy's legendary fear of snakes, two local snake handlers with their slithery friends. Ken Fowler, from Hoffers Tropic Life Pets of Milwaukee, will introduce kids, parents and Indy fans to a few of his snake pals. Monty, a local favorite, is a 10-foot albino Burmese python. Guests can touch, pick up and even take a picture with the creepy creature. Fowler and representatives from the Wildlife In Need Center from Oconomowoc will also bring some native Wisconsin snakes to show, including a four-foot corn snake. In addition to the snakes, fans can compete for a years worth of free Blockbuster movie rentals in the look-a-like contest (child and adult categories). Kids can also participate in the Search for Scary Skulls scavenger hunt throughout the store. Indiana Jones Night will also feature free pizza from Andreas Pizza & Restaurant of West Allis and other prizes, including free movie rentals from Blockbuster, Indiana Jones Adventure Collection DVD trilogies, Indy hats and much more. This event is free and open to the public. | |||||
