New York's Finest auctioned

Fifteen New York police officers will be auctioned at Rock Bottom Brewery, Thursday, March 6 to raise money for Milwaukee's 42nd annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Erin Austin, radio morning co-host from 94.5 WKTI will join Jim Lombardo of Bell Ambulance to emcee the event, hosted by Westown Association.

The auction begins at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. for registration and a meet and greet session. Entry is $5. Zachary Wade provides entertainment immediately following the auction.

Winning bidders receive prize packages from local businesses, and the highest overall bidder gets two roundtrip airline tickets courtesy of Air Tran Airlines.

One hundred and six officers from the New York Police Department will be in Milwaukee for the weekend to celebrate the city's Irish heritage by marching in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, which begins Downtown at noon on Saturday, March 8.
