After a smashingly successful first show, Faythe Levine will organize a second "Art vs. Craft" on Saturday, June 18, called "Think Spring."

She is now accepting applications online for the alternative craft show at flyingfishgallery.com.

The application deadline is March 19, and craft artists will be notified of acceptance by March 26. The cost to reserve a table is $35.

At the last show, which ran Nov. 4 and 5 at Turner Hall, Levine recruited more than 100 vendors from around the country with professional and unusual crafts ranging from handbags to hand-painted T-shirts; stuffed owls to crocheted shawls. More than 1,500 shoppers walked through the event, and Levine speculates those numbers could possibly double for the summer show.

Stay tuned to OMC for more information about this upcoming d.i.y. (do-it-yourself) event.
