Honeypie opened in 2009 to serve Midwestern comfort food. Serving lunch, dinner and brunch, the menu includes pasties, pot pies, kielbasa sausage and homemade pies.

Saw a piece on Honeypie on the Wisconsin Foodie tv show and it looks amazing. Everything is made from scratch even the pickles. I am going on Friday and will report back.

Oct. 22nd, 5PM, had dinner consisting of the turkey slices under a globe of mashed potatoes and the cream of potato soup. Both were barely warm. Soup was like thick wallpaper paste and tasteless. The place was not busy and got a booth immediately upon entering. I might return in a few months and hopefully get a hot dinner. Waitress was congenial and apologetic after I told her. Not her fault. She was properly tipped.
