THUMBS ALL THE WAY UP!!!! Don't even waste time or money at La Fuente's/5th Street anymore. This is the new spot. Cleaner, better service, better ambience and of course excellent dishes at reasonable prices. The Coctel de Camaron (Shrimp Cocktail) delivers.

I have been to this restaurant and it was FABULOUS! Food was GREAT! Price was GREAT! Service was GREAT! I went with a group on 8 people, and even though the gratuity was added automatically with a bigger group, Pablo-our waiter, deserved every bit of it!

We have been to El Fuego a few times. Each time the service was great and the food was excellent. It's a good addition to the area and judging by the crowds I'm not the only one who thinks it's good.

I've tried it 2 different times now and had the same experience both times, THUMBS DOWN. Actually my last visit was with a group of 6 and El Fuego got a resounding 6 thumbs down from us. It is best described as a Chi Chi's threw up on an Applebee's combine the tacky over done interior and the most uncomfortable seats money can but with bad, slow service, a non attentive bar staff and bland overpriced food.

Don't waste your time or money at this non-authentic over priced restaurant. Service was OK food was not good. Obvious "fillers" being used like potatoes in the ground beef, potatoes and carrots in the shrimp soup!!? No tomatoes or avocado? Bottled cheap hot sauce. The chicken on my tostada tasted like it was made with Manwich. Yuck!! This place will be under new management/ ownership within a year to 18 months. The builder/developer is well known for this.
