What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published Aug. 13, 2008 at 5:09 a.m.

Here at OnMilwaukee.com, we pride ourselves in being Milwaukee experts. Since it's literally our job to eat, sleep and breathe all things Brew City, we get lots of questions from our readers.

This is where we answer them.

In the "Ask OMC" series, we take your questions, big or small, and track down the answers. Send your query to askomc@staff.onmilwaukee.com. Be sure to include your name and location, and we'll consider it for our next installment.

Our question today comes from Steve in Waukesha, who wants to know "What's going into the new building near Brookfield Square, between The Fresh Market and Flemings?"

Great question, Steve.

The new restaurant, and there have been plenty opening in that area lately, is called Stir Crazy and it serves Asian-style stir fry and other Asian influenced dishes. This will be Stir Crazy's first Wisconsin location, but the chain has outlets in Illinois, Michigan, Florida, New York, Missouri, Ohio and Indiana.

According to the Web site, Stir Crazy features a market bar or "build your own stir fry" menu, where customers can choose from a variety of different vegetables, spices and sauces and watches a chef prepare it along with meat, fish, rice or noodles.(Think bd's Mongolian Barbeque at Bayshore.)

Stir Crazy expects to open this fall.
