What is a blog? For us it is a short blurb that we write when the mood strikes us. It can be first person, funny or informative. In short, a blog is whatever we want it to be. Published July 25, 2008 at 11:34 a.m.

If summer is too hot for you, remember that it's winter in the southern hemisphere. So, Il Mito Enoteca Chef Michael Feker's Argentian menu Saturday night, July 26, might be just what the doctor ordered.

The dinner -- each of the courses is paired with an Argentinian wine -- is served at the chef's counter, so you can see Feker prepare the dishes before your eyes. And best of all, you'll have a front row seat for one of the best shows in town. Feker is great fun to watch and his sense of humor and broad smile will make you feel right at home ... in Buenos Aires.

Here is Feker's description of the dinner:

First Course: Grilled black Angus beef spare ribs with a chimichuri sauce and Spanish onion haystack. Wine varietal: Malbec.

Second Course: Pan seared diver Sea Scallops with a salad of micro greens lemon honey drizzle and Empanada crisps. Wine varietal: Torrentes.

Third Course: Black Angus Short ribs with Seasonal vegetables, mushrooms and Gorgonzola butter. Wine varietals: Cabernet, Malbec.

Fourth Course: Tres Leche flan with grilled peaches and
peach brandy sauce. Wine varietal: Argentinian sparkling.

The dinner is offered for $89 per person.
