After four successful years, Bjonda, 7754 W. Harwood Ave., transformed into Firefly Urban Bar & Grill.
"It was time for a change," says owner Marija Madunic. "The new concept is casual and approachable yet embodies the critical qualities we so highly regard -- great food and warm, friendly service in an attractive environment."
The front dining rooms were transformed from Bjonda's quiet and formal dining area to a livelier, funkier space.
Firefly's menu features appetizers, sandwiches and entrees from their wood-burning grill and smoker. The new menu includes a few of Bjonda's best items, including Microburgers, fondue and crunch salad. Prices range from $5 to $19.
"We feel the area will welcome the straightforward menu and affordable prices," says Madunic.
