In honor of actor Johnny Depp and the rest of the film crew for the Wisconsin-filmed John Dillinger feature "Public Enemies," Kincaid's Restaurant, 1110 N. Old World 3rd St., has temporarily renamed its French dip sandwich as the "Wisconsin French Depp."
All profits from the $13 sandwich, which features rock salt-roasted prime rib, Wisconsin white cheddar cheese, pickled onions, freshly grated horseradish sauce and house-made au jus, will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.
The "Public Enemies" crew is currently filming in Downtown Milwaukee.
"Johnny Depp and his crew are shooting right down the road from us on Old World Third Street, so we thought we'd give a warm -- and tasty -- Milwaukee welcome," said Janor Bourgerie, general manager of Kincaid's Restaurant. "We also know that Johnny Depp has a special place in his heart for children's charities, so making this donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin just made sense."
