According to owner Robert Hecht, Brio, 785 N. Jefferson St., has dropped the "trattoria" from its name to indicate a few changes that have taken place.
"Our new executive chef, Benjamin Fairly, formerly the head chef at Sauce, has come on board and completely revised the menu, moving away from strictly Italian to a more upscale menu featuring an eclectic mix of entrees, appetizers, lunch specials and desserts," said Hecht.
Brio still has live blues and jazz on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is open for lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Fridays. It opens at 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
