The votes are in, and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2008. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, special features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food. Bon appetit!
Many will agree that service, whether good or bad, can make or break a restaurant experience. Not that all guests want to be fussed over hand and foot, but there is a certain expectation of courtesy and promptness that surfaces when entering an establishment and if that expectation is not met, there's a reasonable chance the diner will write off the restaurant for good.
Some foodies won't let a rude server keep them from their favorite filet in the city, but for others, good service is just as important as the meal they bring.
Thankfully, OnMilwaukee.com readers found Eddie Martini's to have a hearty helping of both fine fare and spectacular service. It's difficult to hear or read an account of this upscale Wauwatosa supper club at 8612 W. Watertown Plank Rd. without a mention of the excellent service.
It's waitstaff is professional and poised, adding to an already comforting eating environment.

| college_dave | Much agreed. During my last visit, the server, Kim, was perfect. |
