Bayshore will be home to the state's first Cameron's Steakhouse, mall developer Steiner & Associates announced Tuesday. The upscale steakhouse is, like Steiner & Associates, based in Columbus, Ohio.
"Milwaukee has similar demographics to Columbus and we were very impressed with the plans for Bayshore and the surrounding area in general," said Carolyn Delp, vice president of marketing for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, in a statement.
The restaurant, which joins nine other restaurants in the Cameron Mitchell group and which is expected to fill between 7,200 to 8,000 sq. ft., plans to open by November.
Also confirmed were rumors that Bayshore Town Center will host the second H&M -- a Swedish clothing retailer -- in the area, due to open in fall. The first location -- selling only women's clothing -- is in Brookfield Square. There is no word yet on whether the Bayshore H&M will include clothing for men, children and teens, as do locations in other cities.
