Would you get a mullet to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina? If you come to Cans Bar and Canteen on Thursday night for the opportunity to do so.
In celebration of an upgraded dining menu and a new chef to implement it, Cans is throwing a White Trash Wedding Party on Thursday, Sept. 22. Why are they calling it "white trash?" Because aside from the new menu additions -- sandwiches, wraps, pizzas and salads -- Cans is keeping with its "Old School Fun" flavor by showcasing old favorites like, mac 'n' cheese, SpaghettiOs, sloppy joes, fish sticks and tater tots.
Also, customers can request a dance with the pregnant bride and, of course, get free mullet haircuts on site. For every mullet cut given, Cans Bar will donate funds to the Hurricane Katrina Fund through the American Red Cross. Festivities start at 5 p.m.
