Without warning, The Vox bar, 2203 N. Prospect Ave., shut its doors Monday, July 11, though not for good, accordiing to owner Jon Vincent, who says that the closing is only temporary.
"We're remodeling both the interior and exterior of the building, and we should be open again by the fall," he says. But will The Vox stay or will another bar take its place?
"That's a surprise," says Vincent. "We haven't made any final decisions just yet."
Vincent, along with a few others, owns the entire building on the corner of Kenilworth Place and Prospect Avenue, which also houses the new Yield Café.
