Sabor, Milwaukee's first Brazilian steak house, has opened at 777 N. Water St., former home of Stout Bros. The new eatery has long been talked about but began serving just last week.
Based on the centuries-old pampas steak house tradition, meat at Sabor -- named after the Portuguese word for flavor -- is prepared "churrasco" style, roasted on spits and carved table-side.
The Stout Bros. brew pub space has been renovated by Kahler Slater and the restaurant boasts an extensive wine list.
The Sabor Web site is saborbrazil.net. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.com for a full review of the new restaurant.
