The former Red Rock Cafe & Seafood Market space, 4022 N. Oakland Ave., has been gutted and is being recast as Oakcrest Tavern. Owner Rick Schmidt says it will open in "early spring" as a "casual" eatery and tavern. Schmidt received a Class B liquor license last week.
