Seattle-based math-rock quartet Minus the Bear has just announced that it will make a Milwaukee stop on its month-long tour across the States, which kicks off next Monday, April 26 in Seattle.

Minus the Bear, a band comprising former members from Botch, Kill Sadie and Sharks Keep Moving, plays The Pabst Theater on Wednesday, May 16 with special guests The Honorary Title, Chin Up Chin Up and Milwaukee's own Maritime.

Although there is no new record out at this time, Minus the Bear released an album of remixes -- "Interpretations Del Oso" -- in February of this year and has plans to release its fourth full-length, "Planet of Ice" this fall.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 day of show. Advance tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 24 at noon at The Pabst box office, on the Web at pabsttheater.org and tickets.com, or by calling (414) 286-3663 or (800) 511-1552.
