The New York Times ran a rare review of a Milwaukee Art Museum show in today's newspaper.
Critic Roberta Smith said that the museum's "The Arts and Crafts Movement in Europe and America: How Decorative Arts Evolved and Became a Social Movement" exhibition is "imposing thought-filled show (that) celebrates the first recognition of design's complex place in the weave of modern life."
Word is that the Times is also planning on reviewing MAM's "CUT/Film as Found Object" show on Friday.
